Standard Care Services are provided for all residents and are included in the base monthly rental costs.

Standard Care Services
• Personal assistance available 24-hours a day
• Scheduling for all medical appointments
• Three “home-cooked” meals daily, plus snacks
• Daily housekeeping and individualized personal laundry
• All utilities including cable TV and local phone services
• Transportation to medical appointments, shopping and social outings*
• Self-activated, in-room phone communications system
• Furnished residences available with bath, bed linens and bath towels
• Daily planned activities on monthly calendar
• Use of all community amenities including Internet, pool table, home theater, putting greens, etc...
• Emergency assistance when needed
* Transportation to a scheduled medical appointment is provided once a week on Tuesdays or Thursdays at no additional charge.

Personal Care Services are provided to residents, as needed, based on the results of their Functional Assessment of the Resident (FAR) questionnaire. The results of the FAR also determine the additional monthly cost that will be applied to a resident’s basic rental fee to determine their total monthly expense.

• Medication management, includes distribution, administration and reordering of prescriptions

• Full-service beauty/barber salon
• Special needs/requirements not covered under the Standard monthly fee

While Heron House does not promote individually priced service options, there are some special needs that do not fall within the Standard and Personal Care levels prices.

Fee-based Services
• In-room meal delivery
• Additional transportation outside of Standard/Personal Care level services
• In-house Physical or Occupational Therapy or any 3rd party care
*No charge if medically necessary.

Unlike many competitors, at Heron House there are no long-term leases and no security deposit requirements. Small pets are welcome. If residents are not completely satisfied, a full reimbursement is offered within the first 10 days (excluding respite care residents).
